Many people think more time = faster healing. But body does not work like that.

Let’s talk in a very simple way.


So… how many minutes is right?

Most people should do a sitz bath for 10 to 15 minutes.

That’s it.

Not 5 minutes (too short).
Not 30 minutes (too long).

Just 10–15 minutes is enough for the body to relax, blood flow to improve, and pain to reduce.


Why not sit longer?

This is something people don’t talk about.

If you sit too long:

  • Skin becomes too soft
  • Area may feel irritated
  • You can feel more discomfort after

One person from Ahmedabad told me he used to sit for 25 minutes daily. After some days, he started feeling more itching. When he reduced to 12 minutes, things got better.

So yes, more is not always good.


Why 10–15 minutes works best

Think like this.

Warm water is like a gentle support for your body.
